Kelly Clarkson, an American actor, singer and songwriter who took home the American Idol competition during its inaugural season, was an instant national sensation. She was not only a star after the win, but she also has signed a contract with RCA Records 19 Recordings & "S Records' for numerous albums. Since then she has released various studio albums. Three of which made the cut of the US Billboard 200' chart while the other albums narrowly failed to make the cut. She's one of the top performers who made it through American Idol. She began to experiment with themes and songs as her popularity grew. She earned critical acclaim and several prestigious awards for her individuality and singing prowess. In particular, she's won the Grammy Award three times. She also has been featured in television and films. She also penned the picture book for kids River Rose and the Magical Lullaby and has also been involved with several charitable organizations.
