Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was in her teens working for Panorama City as a manager and father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. The family grew up within Canyon Country with her three siblings in California. When she was 4 years old she was able to start acting. She appeared as an extra to TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen & M.D. in the beginning of her professional career. When she was 13, she made her debut in the film Friday. She first became famous in 1997 for her role in the role of Cisely batiste (a troubled teenage girl) as a troubled teenager in Eve's Bayou, for which she was nominated twice and also received an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good had minor roles in films and on television for a couple of years, before moving into roles that were more mature at the dawn of the 2000s. The role she played was Nina, Nickelodeon T.V.'s Cousin Skeeter. Her role was as Nina on Nickelodeon's T.V. series Cousin SKeeter between 1998 and 2001. She also landed tiny roles in movies House Party Down to the show from 1998 to 2001. Minute as well as 3 Strikes. She played Vanessa Scott on the 2003 sitcom My Wife and Kids. She appeared in D.E.B.S the action comedy film which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. She then appeared in a variety of movies, such as Cookout one Missed call Waist Deep The Love Guru and You Got Serve. In 2012, she continued to be active both on T.V. In films, she was Mya in Think Like a Man with a cast of many stars as well as playing Ms. Stevens as Dysfunctional. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer originates from Texas originally, attended Baylor University Waco Texas. She graduated from Baylor University with an undergraduate degree. in 2010. She received an award in performance art. The first time she appeared on screen was 2010 in the web series"If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career onscreen in 2010 after appearing in several local plays. The actress was featured in Simon Fuller's Hulu series If I Can Dream in its first episode. The show centers around an ensemble of actors who move into the same Hollywood California house.
