Salma Hayek

Salma Hayek, a Mexican American actress born of Spanish and Lebanese parents, is Mexican. She was born into a family of a Mexican Roman Catholic wealthy family. When she was a little girl, she was introduced to the film "Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory. Her confidence was high to venture into the world of movies after attending Mexico City's "Universidad Iberoamericana.' Her first performance was in the role in the Mexican television show "Teresa." The film she was in featured her in the film "Desperado" with Antonio Banderas after arriving in Hollywood. The film was followed by other roles, including 'Fools Rush In and Wild Wild West.' In the movie 'Once Upon a time in Mexico,' she reprised her role as the character 'Desperado. The actress later established her own production company called Ventanarosa. Her first film was the Mexican El Coronel No Quien Le Escriba. The film later became Mexico's official film submission to the Oscars for Best Foreign Film. She also served as the executive producer for 'Ugly.' In her role in the role of Sofia Reyes in 'Ugly Betty was nominated for 'Outstanding Guest Actress in a Comedy Series' at the 60th 'Primetime Emmy Awards.' The actress also endorses brands such as 'Avon and Revlon the latter of which has her own cosmetics line, haircare products and skincare products under the name of 'Nuance'.
