Rickards was cast in March 2014, as Kristen Rose - the sister to Dakota (Haley Ramm) who is the main character in Cowgirls 'n Angels. Film premiered at the 2013 Dallas International Film Festival. She played a role as an actress in Brooklyn the film, which was nominated to win an Oscar. Her role was played by her for the film Slumber (2016) which she co-starred in the film Slumber, along with Darby Stanchfield and Meaghan Rath. Los Angeles was the location for filming in May 2016. The actress also appeared in the short film about super-heroes, called film Sidekick that was written and directed by Arrowverse Alum Jeff Cassidy.
